You probably already know that Veterans should consume a lot of fruits
and vegetables every day—and the more variety, the greater the benefit.
Luckily, you can grow both a high number and large variety of vegetables, herbs, fruits with Tower Garden.

In fact, Tower Garden can grow more than 150 different wellness-promoting plants. (The only real exceptions are root crops—such as
carrots and potatoes—grapevines, bushes and trees.)

Within the greenhouse. there will be 30 commercial sized towers that can produce food year round. In the winter we will be able to produce the following: Any and all produce with a root system. Such as;



  • Beans: Lima, bush, pole, green
  • Broccoli
  • Brussels Sprouts
  • Cabbage
  • Cauliflower
  • Collards
  • Cucumbers
  • Eggplant
  • Garbanzo beans
  • Gourds, edible and ornamental
  • Kale

  • Lettuce, all types
  • Melons, all types
  • Mustard Greens
  • Peas, all types
  • Peppers, all types
  • Spinach
  • Squash, all types
  • Strawberries
  • Tomatoes, all types


With each new season, we build on our understanding of how our veterans
are being healed through horticulture. The participating Veterans play a
vital role in sharing their experiences, reporting on their progress and
working with our staff to advance the field of horticulture therapy. Using
state-of-the-art methodologies, we track outcomes and then collaborate
with leaders on next-generation holistic therapies.
